SW 8th St. will be upgrading with curb and guttering and sidewalks. (See the rendering of SW 8th Street). The City has indicated this project is the top priority in 2008 according to the FYI 2005-2009 Capital Improvement Program.

Downtown Bentonville sports a huge network of trails for public use. The museum takes its name from the unique glass-and-wood building design, created for the natural setting by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie. At this time, Bentonville Plaza is interested in soliciting expressions of interest for pre-leasing at an additional tower on the site. This second building will be constructed as a "sister" building to the existing 300,000 square foot, 9 story tower. Available spaces will range from 2,000 rent-able square feet up to approximately 25,000 contiguous rent-able square feet per floor. The target Tenant is one that desires unmatched access to the Walmart Home Offices, the fit and feel of being located in a thriving Downtown environment and a true Class "A" office experience.

As is the case with the existing building, this second facility is planned to house a workout facility for Tenants, on-site storage, unmatched Tenant Services, on-site management and highly efficient environmentally friendly finishes.
